This guide will attempt to cover the configuration menu in depth.
Main Configuration Screen:
Show launch titles - Toggles whether or not to show the titles that must be hand edited into the launchelf.cnf file.(*)
Disc Control - Toggles whether or not uLaunchElf should stop the cd/dvd in the drive.(*)
Hide Full ELF Paths - Toggles whether or not the main screen displays the entire path to the program, or just the program name.(eg mc0:/BADATA-SYTEM/BOOT.ELF vs BOOT.ELF) Screen Settings:
Color1 Backgr - Sets the background color(if not using a skin)
Color2 Frames - Sets the color of the frames on the screen
Color3 Select - Sets the color of the text when you select it, also the text color that shows what keys do what on a specific entry.
Color4 Normal - Sets the color of the font used everywhere else.
Color5 Graph1 - Sets the color of the graph used in the HDD Manager. This one is for "Free Space".
Color6 Graph2 - Sets the color of the graph used in the HDD Manager. This one is for "Used Space"
Color7 Graph3 - Something to do with the HDD Manager and the Graphs
Color8 Graph4 - Something to do with the HDD Manager and the Graphs
Screen X Offset - Used to control the horiziontal position of uLaunchElf on the screen.
Screen Y Offset - Used to control the vertical position of uLaunchElf on the screen.
Interlace - Toggle interlacing on or off. Use what looks best to you.(*) Skin Settings:
--Skin Path - The path to the jpg file that you want to use a a background image.
--Apply New Skin - Sets the currently selected skin as the background and returns to the previous menu.
--Brightness - Sets the brightness of the jpg image.
Menu Title - Allows for the chosen text to be displayed in the top left of the screen at all times.
Menu Frame - Toggles whether or not the frames will be drawn on the screen.
Popups Opaque - Toggles whether or not popups(eg, the keyboard, and the r1 menu) will have opaque backgrounds.
Use Default Screen Settings - Restores all screen related settings back to the default values. Startup Settings:
Reset IOP - Toggles whether or not uLaunchElf should reset the IOP. Leave 'ON' unless you know what you are doing.
Number Of CNF's - Sets the number of CNF's that uLaunchElf can have. Useful if you want multiple screens with different settings(*)
Pad Mapping - Allows for swapping of the 'O' and 'X' functions.
USBD IRX - Sets the path to an optional USBD.IRX file, only use this if your current usb mass drive isn't working. USBD.IRX files can be obtained from some games.
TV Mode - Allows you to force the TV display mode to either PAL or NTSC. Leave on AUTO unless you know what you are doing.
Initial Delay - An initial delay before uLaunchElf loads.(*)
'Default' Timeout - The time(in seconds) before the "Default" entry is automatically loaded.
USB Keyboard Used - Toggles whether or not the use of a USB Keyboard is enabled.
USB Keyboard IRX - Sets an optional USB Keyboard.irx file.(*)
USB Keyboard Map - Sets the Optional USB Keyboard map, the default is a standard US layout I belive.
CNF Path Override - Allows you to override the default path for where uLaunchElf saves and loads its CNF file from(*) Network Settings:
IP Address - The IP address that you want to assign to your PS2.
NetMask - The netmask on your network
Gateway - The Gateway that your PS2 should use.
Save To "mc0:/SYS-CONF/IPCONFIG.DAT" - Saves these settings to the file IPCONFIG.DAT, which many other programs use when accessing the network.
