This screen is where you can
change the background colors, text colors, use a skin, move the screen,

bottom of the screen, as it may change depending on what you select in
There are 8 different colors you can change to 'spice up' how uLE
displays. If you use a skin, you will want to adjust these so you can
view the text clearly over your image. Just put the cursor (arrow) next
to a digit you wish to change and press O to go up a number or
X to go down. The small
colored boxes are what that color will look like for the 3 numbers that
mix the Red, Green and Blue spectrum.
Color1 - This is the
background and will show when your not using a skin image.
This will also show as the background color for the sub-menu's and the
KeyBoard display for text input.
Color2 - This is the
frame that borders around the content, the scrollbar and the LaunchELF
version in the upper right corner.
Color3 - This is the
selected text in the content area and the top/bottom text outside the
Color4 - This is the
normal text in the content area that isnt selected
Color5 - This is the
color for the free space
displayed as a Graph in the HDD Manager and also the Folder icon in fileBrowser.
Color6 - This is the
color for the used space
displayed as agraph in the HDD Manager and also the ELF file icon in FileBrowser.
Color7 - This is the
color for all other files displayed in FileBrowser.
Color8 - This is not
used for anything yet
TV mode: you can
select from PAL/NTSC/AUTO for the region display of your TV
Screen X offset: This
will move your screen Left
(ADD) or Right (SUBTRACT)
if you need to adjust it to fit your TV's screen
Screen Y offset: This
will move your screen Down
(ADD) or Up (SUBTRACT) if
you need to adjust it to fit your TV's screen
Interlace: you can turn
ON/OFF the screen interlace for which ever looks best on your TV
Skin Settings... This
opens a new page where you can select a skin image you want to use
Load Skin CNF... This
will allow you to load a pre-configured skin file from any device you
have connected via FileBrowser.
Save Skin CNF...
This will allow you to create a skin settings file if you wish to save
it for use at a later time or to share it with others in a skin
package. You will be given a menu to save to a connected device and
then the keyboard menu opens so you can name it as whateveryouwant.CNF.
The regular LAUNCHELF.CNF will also retain your settings once
you save it, so creating a skin.CNF isnt necessary to do, but its an
option if you like to change skins and dont wish to go thru all the
Menu Title: You can
create a title name that will display in the upper left of the screen
if you want, useful if you decide to create multiple LAUNCHELF.CNF
files and this would help you to keep them organized at a quick glance
of the title.
Menu Frame: this is the
frame that borders the content area
Popups Opaque: this
allows you to choose if the background image (OFF) shows thru or the
background color (ON) shows in a submenu over a main screen.
